This role will support the testing, validation and fault-finding of advanced vacuum systems and associated equipment. You will be responsible for carrying out functional and performance testing, diagnosing faults, analysing test data and ensuring products meet the required quality and performance standards prior to customer delivery.

Working closely with engineering, manufacturing and production teams, you will play a key role in supporting new product introduction, continuous improvement activities and maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.

Duties include: Carry out functional and performance testing of vacuum systems and assembliesSet up and operate test equipment, instrumentation and measurement systemsPerform fault finding and diagnose mechanical, electrical and system issuesInterpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentationRecord, analyse and report test results accuratelyComplete test procedures and documentation in line with company standardsSupport product validation and qualification activitiesIdentify root causes of failures and support corrective actionsAssist with improvements to test methods, processes and equipmentEnsure products meet quality, safety and performance requirementsSupport investigations into product issues and non-conformancesMaintain accurate records and complete documentationMaintain a clean, organised and safe working environmentWhat Were Looking ForPrevious experience in an engineering test, manufacturing or production environmentAbility xrnqpay to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentationExperience with fault finding and problem solvingStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to analyse technical information and test resultsGood communication skills and ability to work as part of a teamExperience testing mechanical, electrical or vacuum systems would be advantageousKnowledge of pressure testing, leak testing or vacuum technology would be beneficialExperience using test equipment and measurement instrumentation would be desirableExperience with data analysis or automated test systems would be advantageousBasic understanding of electrical systems and controls would be beneficialIf you are interested in this Test Technician position, please apply below.
