A global services-based IT organisation committed to delivering high-quality, client-focused solutions to some of the world’s largest companies. With ambitious growth plans we are seeking an experienced and commercially focused CFO to lead our financial strategy and operations.

Role overview

The Chief Financial Officer will work closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership team to play a key role in shaping and executing the company’s strategy through strong financial leadership, commercial insight, and operational oversight.

What you’ll Do;

Financial Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
• Provide strategic insight and challenge across the leadership team to shape long-term business plans.
• Support investment decisions, pricing models, and profitability initiatives.
• Drive value creation through a proactive approach to growth strategy, including organic and inorganic opportunities.

Business Partnering

• Act as a strategic business partner to the CEO and operational leaders.
• Translate financial data into actionable business insights to support decision-making.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial goals with operational priorities.

Banking & External Relationships

• Manage and strengthen relationships with banking partners and financial institutions
• Lead banking negotiations, cash flow planning, and covenant compliance.
• Support financing strategies to enable business growth, working capital optimisation, and capital investment.

Financial Control & Compliance

• Oversee the full finance function including management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury and tax.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and audit standards.
• Maintain robust internal controls and ensure a smooth audit process.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team of 36 with a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Implement best-in-class processes and systems to scale the finance function effectively.

Experience

Required:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent, with 10+ years in senior finance leadership roles.
• Previous experience as a CFO of a large or medium sized company

Preferred:

• Strong commercial acumen and a proven track record of partnering with the business to drive growth.
• Exposure to multi-entity or international operations.
• Experience in a services-based environment (e.g., consulting, managed services, professional services).
• Demonstrated experience managing bank relationships and external financing.
• Experienced in ERP systems, financial automation, and data-driven decision support

Hybrid Role – Must be in the London office 2-3 Days a week

Salary £200k + Bonus
