Westgate Halls of Residence Supervisor (Bank)
Are you looking for flexible work where you can make a real difference to young people living away from home? Join our Accommodation Services bank team and help support the welfare, supervision and security of residents at Westgate Halls in Chichester.
As our Westgate Halls of Residence Bank Supervisor, you will: Act as a welcoming and reliable point of contact for residents, supporting their welfare, promoting positive behaviour and working closely with colleagues, security staff, parents and relevant support services. Help maintain a safe, secure and high-quality residential environment by following safeguarding, fire safety and health and safety procedures, completing checks and inspections, and identifying maintenance issues. Keep accurate student records, event logs and shift handovers, supervise evening and weekend enrichment activities, and report stock or operational issues.

What you will bring to the role: Experience of working in a welfare-related role, together with an understanding of safeguarding vulnerable groups. Effective and sensitive communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work confidently with people of different ages and backgrounds. Sound judgement, confidence using Microsoft Word and Outlook, and a responsible, professional approach with integrity, compassion and patience.
