Saltersgate school is the only special school in Midlothian and provides for the wellbeing and education of over 100 children and young people from age 5 to 18 with a range of significant, complex and multiple additional support needs. You will be responsible for leading a team of support staff to provide children with support for communication, sensory, health and emotional regulation to create effective conditions for learning. You will work alongside stage partners to plan, assess and moderate learning. There is support for our children from a wide range of partners, with families being key partners.
