Duties of the Service Advisor
- Managing customer workloads and scheduling in a busy dealership environment
- Liaising extensively with workshop teams to chase work in progress and update customers
- Delivering excellent customer service through strong communication skills, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Up‑selling additional products and services where appropriate
- Managing customer deadlines efficiently to meet department targets
- Operating in a fast‑paced environment with between 10 and 12 customer meetings per day
- Maintaining accurate records and adhering to dealership policies and procedures
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
Requirements of the Service Advisor
- Recent or current experience within a dealership or similar automotive setting
- Strong organisational and IT skills, with experience using Keyloop preferred
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- Ability to work efficiently within a team and manage multiple tasks effectively
