DDR are looking to recruit a HGV Class 1 Driver on behalf of our client to join their team in Swindon. Do not pass up this chance, apply quickly if your experience and skills match what is in the following description.

Hours of work:
- Day/Night Shifts
- Weekends available
- All different start times available
Salary:
- Day: £18.00 per hour
- Nights: £18.50 per hour
- Weekends: £18.50 per hour
The Role:
- Driving a HGV Class 1 Vehicles
- Delivering on pallets and cages
- Delivering to businesses, and other depots (Trunking)
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
- Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
- To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
- To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.
Essential Skills:
- Must hold a valid HGV 1 / Cat CE license.
- Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card.
- Must hold a valid Digital taco card.
- Must have a minimum of 6 months experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Good customer relations.
- Have a safe driving record.
- No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations.
- No DRs, INs or DDs offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
