This role is a permanent contract, 32 hours - Working Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday which is inclusive of Bank Holidays.

Pay: £13.90 per hour. Plus, an additional 71p per hour when hours exceed 8pm. Saturday's paid at time and a half.

What youll be doing

This role is primarily working in a small team within the Multihead fridge packing our delicate leafy items and varieties of beans and peas, and on our SORMA netter, which we use to put all our lovely citrus (and sometimes other items!) into netted bags.

Youll be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality, whilst prioritising safety and maintaining operational efficiency.

Youll be given the opportunity to be multiskilled in this area.

The environment is temperature controlled and can be damp, but we will provide you with the correct clothing to be warm and dry.

The SORMA and Multihead are large and intricate machines, and we will provide full training in all roles that keep the machine running.

  • Ideally you will have previous experience of working in a production or warehousing environment
  • Must be comfortable working in a cold environment
  • You must be able to lift and manoeuvre crates of produce and veg boxes
  • You should have good communication skills and be able to speak and understand English to a level that enables you to comprehend instructions and the daily requirements of the role
  • Accurate and efficient
