The Role We are seeking experienced, multi-skilled Automotive Painters & Preppers to join our new technical team. Working on new vehicles, youll carry out a range of bodyshop and corrosion protection tasks in a purpose-built, clean, and professional environment.
A key part of this role also involves the application of protective chassis wax coatings to new vehicle underbodies to prevent corrosion, as per OEM specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare new vehicles for painting (masking, sanding, priming, and filler work)
Perform smart repairs and minor cosmetic work
Inspect painted vehicles for quality and complete any required rectifications
Apply OEM-specified chassis wax to vehicle underbodies using professional spraying equipment
Ensure all equipment is clean, functional, and maintained to H&S standards
Maintain a tidy work area and complete all required documentation accurately
Key Requirements
Previous experience in a vehicle paint and/or preparation role is essential
Strong understanding of refinishing and corrosion protection methods
Good attention to detail and pride in delivering quality results
Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Reliable, professional, and committed to continuous improvement
Full Commercial Vehicle UK driving licence preferred
