We are recruiting for a Part-Time Legal Secretary to join the friendly and supportive Family Law team of a well-respected law firm in Bridport.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary, or an experienced Secretary looking to move into the legal sector.
You will provide key secretarial and administrative support to Family Law fee earners while working within a professional, welcoming, and supportive team.
The Role As a Legal Secretary, your responsibilities will include: Providing efficient secretarial and administrative support to Family Law fee earners.
Preparing accurate legal correspondence and documents using audio typing and Microsoft Word.
Proofreading and checking documents to ensure accuracy and a high standard of presentation.
Managing diaries, appointments, and client correspondence.
Opening new matter files and maintaining accurate client and case records.
Handling telephone enquiries professionally, courteously, and sensitively.
Dealing with confidential and sensitive client information with discretion.
Filing and maintaining client and case files in good order.
Preparing correspondence and document attachments and ensuring documents are sent correctly.
Providing reception cover when required.
Supporting other secretaries and colleagues as part of a collaborative team.
About You We are looking for someone who is: An experienced Secretary or Legal Secretary.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Word.
A strong and accurate typist, with audio typing experience desirable. xrnqpay
Professional and confident when dealing with clients and telephone enquiries.
