As a HGV Driver based in Milton Keynes, you'll be responsible for:
- Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
- Offering excellent Customer Service at all times
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring they are a positive ambassador of the Wolseley brand
- Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects
- Working well within the transport team, including relating to the driving team and the transport administration
- Unloading and loading on customers' premises, where required
This is a full-time, permanent role working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday on the night shift.
Here's what we'd like you to have:
- A full, Class 1 HGV licence
- Up to date knowledge of digital tachographs
- Driver CPC
- Experience of using, or comfortable with learning, digital technology, i.e. handheld devices
- Confidence interacting with customers and suppliers to build effective relationships
