About the Role
Are you passionate about purchasing and looking for a new challenge? Do you have previous experience in procurement?
We are looking for a highly competent and motivated Procurement Administrator to join a busy Procurement Team, supporting the Procurement Data Analyst.
The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring suppliers are qualified, pricing is kept up to date, savings and inflation are validated, and KPIs are produced and reported across a range of areas within the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process.
Key Responsibilities
Work with members of the Procurement Team to validate savings and inflation for period-end and monthly finance reporting.
Maintain current catalogues and implement new catalogues on Oracle when requested by Buyers or Category Leads.
Support the team with keeping prices up to date for inventory items.
Keep Blanket Purchase Agreements up to date with live inventory codes.
Support the ERP Functional Specialist with removing expired codes and adding new ones annually.
Set up, maintain and end-date Contract Purchase Agreements and Blanket Purchase Agreements when required.
Process manual payment requests.
Set up, categorise and qualify new suppliers.
Qualify the existing supplier base and report on results.
Support the Procurement Team with tenders and general procurement administration.
Maintain the Procurement mailbox.
Provide regular support to requisitioners, including training new requisitioners.
Ensure the relevant training information is kept up to date.
Complete additional ad hoc procurement and administrative tasks as required.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
Knowledge and experience of Oracle systems.
Experience in report building and data analysis.
Excellent Excel skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
A proactive approach to organising and managing workload.
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to build effective working relationships across different functions.
A strong team-player mentality.
Previous experience within procurement, purchasing or a similar administrative environment.
