About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, professional Receptionist to provide a first-class front-of-house service for students, staff and visitors. This is a varied role where you'll be the first point of contact, supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy university environment.
Key Responsibilities
- - Welcome and assist visitors, students and staff
- - Answer enquiries in person, by telephone and email
- - Manage visitor sign-in procedures, permits and documentation
- - Maintain records and update internal databases
- - Issue and track keys and access cards
- - Coordinate meeting and visitor schedules
- - Liaise with facilities and maintenance teams
- - Support administrative and postal duties
- - Monitor CCTV and assist with building safety procedures when required
About You
You’ll be a confident communicator who enjoys helping people and thrives in a busy environment. You’ll be organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent customer service.

- - Previous reception, front-of-house or customer service experience
- - Strong Microsoft Office and IT skills
- - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- - Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- - Great attention to detail and organisation skills
