Location: Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire. Well connected by rail and commutable from Reading, High Wycombe, Marlow ,Central London and Oxford . The office is based in a beautiful location and the town is world famous for the Henley Royal Regatta and it's picturesque riverside setting.
Salary: up to Β£38,000 dependent on experience
Benefits : 23 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing by one day each year post-qualified up to 28 days, alongside a pension, discretionary annual bonus, hybrid and flexible working with flexitime, full study support where required, an early 2.30pm Friday finish, corporate rewards, quarterly social events and free onsite parking.
The Role
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using Xero, including invoicing and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts, VAT and CIS returns.
- Complete control account reconciliations and monthly payroll journals.
- Review bookkeeping completed by junior team members and provide support where required.
- Liaise directly with clients, resolve queries and provide Xero training.
- Attend client premises when required and support with ad-hoc accounting requirements.
About You
- 2-3 years' relevant practice experience.
- AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
- Strong bookkeeping experience, including VAT returns and control account reconciliations.
- Xero experience is essential.
- Management accounts experience would be advantageous, although training is available.
