Part time Payroll Manager - Bodmin - Β£38,000 FTE
Fancy a payroll role with a bit more flexibility than the usual full-time position?
We're working with a well-established FMCG business that has been trading in Cornwall for nearly 100 years. They're now looking to add an experienced Payroll Manager to their team on a permanent, part-time basis.
The role can be worked over up to four days per week, although this client is open to fewer days to suit too. The core focus will be payroll, with the opportunity to take on additional finance and administrative responsibilities if you're looking for more hours.
- Managing the end-to-end payroll process
- Ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time
- Maintaining accurate employee and payroll records
- Handling payroll queries and resolving issues
- Processing statutory payments and deductions
- Supporting payroll year-end requirements
- Assisting with wider finance and administration
- Taking on additional finance responsibilities depending on the hours worked
We're looking for an experienced payroll professional who is confident taking ownership of the payroll function and working independently. You'll need to be accurate, organised and comfortable dealing with confidential information. Experience across wider finance or administration would be useful, particularly if you're looking for three or four days per week.
The big attraction here is the flexibility. Whether you're looking for two days, three days or up to four days a week, the business is happy to have a conversation about what works for you.
