We are currently recruiting for a temporary Administrator to join a well established business, initially for two weeks but potentially on an ongoing basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking to customers, building relationships and working within a busy environment.

You'll be speaking with customers to understand what they need, preparing quotations, processing orders and completing basic book keeping tasks.

Duties will include:

  • Handling incoming calls and emails from customers
  • Building and maintaining relationships with existing customers
  • Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable products
  • Preparing quotations, proposals and costings
  • Completing basic book keeping tasks
  • Processing orders and setting up new customer accounts
  • Keeping customer information up to date on the internal system
  • Dealing with customer queries and any issues that arise
  • Sourcing products and samples for customers
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding orders and availability
  • Keeping customers updated on new products and promotions
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure customers receive a good level of service

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous administration experience
  • Knowledge of basic book keeping
  • A confident and professional telephone manner
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • A positive and proactive approach
  • The confidence to handle objections and close sales
  • Good organisation and attention to detail
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience using CRM systems would be beneficial
  • Experience with procurement systems would be an advantage but isn't essential

This would be a great opportunity for someone who is naturally confident with customers and wants to join a friendly, established team.
