Lead Estimator Onshore Technical are currently looking to speak with experienced Lead Estimators for a hybrid, Outside IR35 contract opportunity supporting major civil engineering, infrastructure and energy projects. A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role. Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.
The role will involve preparing competitive tenders across a wide range of groundworks packages, working closely with clients, designers, subcontractors and internal teams to develop accurate, buildable and commercially strong submissions.
Location: Enfield / Birmingham / Hybrid
Rate: £650 - £700 per day
IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Key Experience:
- Preparing tenders for groundworks packages
- Reviewing tender documentation and identifying key requirements
- Supporting budget pricing at early project stages
- Identifying temporary works and design requirements
- Liaising with clients, designers and subcontractors
- Conducting site visits where required
- Identifying risks, ambiguities and commercial considerations
- Working with buying, design, contracts, QS and senior management teams
- D&B contract experience beneficial
