Pure Staff are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to work with one of our long-standing clients based in Bilston .

Our client is one of the UK's leading poultry processing and food manufacturing businesses, supplying fresh and frozen chicken products to major supermarkets, food manufacturers, and food-service providers nationwide.
The Role
As an HGV Class 1 Drivers , you will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections of fresh and frozen food products using modern refrigerated trailers.
This role offers a mixture of day and night shifts , with start times typically between 01:00 and 03:00 for days and 14:00 and 17:00 for nights.
Drivers can expect consistent work completing 1 to 3 RDC deliveries and collections per shift on professionally planned nationwide routes.
Demand is highest from Friday through to Monday , although shifts are available throughout the week, making this an ideal opportunity for drivers seeking full-time, part-time, or weekend-only work.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete RDC deliveries and collections safely and efficiently.
- Carry out 1 to 3 deliveries/collections per shift using refrigerated trailers.
- Conduct daily vehicle and trailer checks before each shift.
- Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
- Adhere to all road transport legislation, driver hours regulations, and company procedures.
- Maintain the temperature integrity of loads throughout transportation.
- Communicate effectively with transport teams and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Report any delays, defects, or issues promptly.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism when representing Pure Staff and our client.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.
- To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need
- UK Category C+E (Class 1) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Minimum of 12 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
- Refrigerated trailer experience preferred but not essential.
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, IN, or TT endorsements).
- A professional, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude.
- Pay Rates
- Monday to Friday
- Days (starts between 04:00 and 15:59) - £17.00 per hour plus £2.05 per hour accrued holiday pay (equivalent to £19.05 per hour including holiday pay).
- Nights (starts between 16:00 and 03:59) - £18.00 per hour plus £2.17 per hour accrued holiday pay (equivalent to £20.17 per hour including holiday pay).

- Saturday Days - £18.00 per hour
