Pure Staff's Driving Team are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers in Bilston for one of our long-standing customers, a leading UK food manufacturer and distributor.
This is consistent, ongoing Thursday/Friday to Monday/Tuesday work, completing 1 to 3 RDC deliveries or collections per shift using refrigerated trailers.
We have consistent and reliable day starts are between 04:00 and 16:00, with shifts averaging around 10 hours.

Rates for an HGV Class 1 Driver
Monday to Friday (Days) = £19.05ph
Saturday (Days) = £20.17ph
Sunday & Bank Holidays (Days) = £21.29ph
The rates advertised above include 12.07% Rolled-Up Holiday Pay.
Prefer to have your holiday pay saved and paid when you take annual leave?
No problem.
You can choose traditional accrued holiday pay instead, in which case, the 12.07% holiday element is removed from the advertised hourly rate above, and accrued separately, and paid to you when you take annual leave.
Night shifts start between 16:00 and 03:59 and are paid at higher rates.

To be successful in this HGV Class 1 Driver role in Bilston, you will need:
UK Category C+E Licence
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Valid Driver CPC Card
Minimum 12 month's HGV Class 1 driving experience
No more than 6 penalty points
A professional, reliable and safety-conscious attitude.
Good understanding of Driver Hours, Working Time Regulations, tachograph legislation and daily vehicle safety checks.
Previous experience operating refrigerated trailers or completing RDC deliveries is advantageous but not essential.
