Job Role:
Programming, setting and operating CNC Milling centres to manufacture bespoke, low-volume components. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and 3D CAD files to determine optimal manufacturing techniques. Using offline CAD-CAM software to create tool paths and machining instructions. Running CNC Millers with Hurco controls to achieve maximum efficiency in batch production.
Job Details:
Pay: Β£18 per hr - Β£19.50 per hr
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:00pm, Friday 7:00am – 3pm
Duration: Permanent
Overtime Rules: Plenty of overtime available, paid at x1.5

Essential Skills & Experience:
Programming and operating milling machines with Hurco controls
Previous experience of machining first off samples
Offline programming experience
Desired Skills & Experience:
Experience working for a low volume batch manufacturer or precision engineer
Experience working with exotic materials
Hurco controls
Heidenhain Controls
Essential Qualifications:
Engineering City and Guilds or ONC qualifications
