Are you a Systems Engineer with strong Microsoft infrastructure and cloud experience? We're looking for an experienced engineer to join a technically diverse environment, taking a leading role in the design, implementation and support of complex server and cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on senior position where you'll combine technical engineering with project delivery, solution design and customer engagement.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead the technical delivery of complex infrastructure projects
- Design, implement and maintain Microsoft server and cloud solutions
- Work directly with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and scope technical solutions
- Produce high- and low-level technical designs, project documentation and implementation plans
- Provide technical input into estimates, Statements of Work and change requests
- Configure and deploy infrastructure in line with agreed designs
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical problem resolution
- Support live environments, including planned maintenance and incident resolution
- Manage service transition, documentation and knowledge transfer into support teams
- Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure, processes and operational procedures
- Take ownership of technical tasks from initial scoping through to successful delivery
Technical expertise we're looking for:
- You'll ideally have 5+ years' experience in a senior infrastructure/systems engineering role, working with Microsoft technologies within complex enterprise environments.
- Microsoft Server & Infrastructure
- Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS)
- Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) / PKI
- Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 and/or 2025
- Hyper-V, including clustered and standalone environments
