We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Driver to join a well-established and busy operation based in Aylesbury. This is a full-time, permanent position offering consistent work, regular routes and the opportunity to become part of a reliable and supportive team.
The role will involve multi-drop deliveries to a range of regular customers, with drivers typically completing around 12 drops per day, although routes can vary between 520 drops depending on the run. Drivers will quickly get to know both the routes and customer base, so strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
Delivery areas cover a wide region including Northampton, Bedford, Biggleswade, Stevenage, Watford/NW London, Epsom, Ashford, Guildford, Newbury, Oxford, Witney and Banbury. There are daily London routes involved, although these do not usually include Central London or W postcodes. All drivers must be comfortable covering London routes when required.
The client is looking for someone with a positive, helpful attitude who takes pride in providing excellent customer service. Some deliveries can be to busy or challenging sites, so professionalism, patience and a problem-solving approach are important. xrnqpay The ideal candidate will be flexible with finishing times, as regular overtime is available and drivers may occasionally work through until 5pm6pm when needed.
