A key role within a planning consultancy team, supporting a Partner by managing planning projects, client relationships, and junior staff, while contributing to business development.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage planning projects from initiation to completion.
  • Prepare project plans, fee agreements, and ensure outputs meet QA standards.
  • Handle invoicing, WIP (Work in Progress), and debt management.
  • Represent clients at public consultations or meetings.
  • Produce professional-grade planning reports.
  • Oversee and mentor junior staff; manage timesheets, holidays, and training.
  • Support the Partner in client and business development activities.
  • Maintain RTPI Chartered status and engage in CPD.
