A typical day as an assistant manager- Act as second-in-command, managing the team, delegating tasks, and supporting training and development to ensure all colleagues feel welcomed. Prepare rotas aligned with labour percentages and budget, and ensure the team promotes and upsells offers. Manage the store in the Store Manager\’s absence, ensuring compliance with Starbucks procedures for successful evaluations. Oversee inventory management, stock control, and weekly reporting, while driving efficiency and reducing waste. Maintain high merchandising standards, including stock levels, presentation, and price labelling, and ensure temperature records meet food safety standards. Ensure adherence to Health & Safety, Food Safety, and hygiene procedures, while managing cash handling, including banking, float checks, and reporting. Management experience preferred, but not required. Previous experience as a team leader in hospitality or retail.
