We re currently looking for a Shipping/ Logistic Coordinator for our client based in Ashford. This is an amazing opportunity to work for a well known, global employer.

Role responsibilities
- Coordinate shipping of products, including method of transport, pick-up times and carriers
- Oversees the preparation of export shipping documents in SAP
- Communicate all customer-specific requirements to distribution/shipping personnel to ensure that shipments are processed on time and as per customer expectations.
- Liaise with Quality Control to validate conformity of materials to be shipped.
- Assist in the development and implementation of written export transportation procedures and filing maintenance.
- Conduct systematic controls to ensure adherence to local and international transport and customs regulations
- Execute other tasks as required and assigned by supervisor
Ideal Candidate will have 2-3 years experience in logistics and
- Good knowledge of transportation supplier landscape.
- Good knowledge of local and international material/product safety/security norms and regulations.
- Knowledge of supply chain dependencies and processes.
- Basic knowledge of production process.
