Are you an experienced Finance Assistant looking for an opportunity to join a growing and dynamic business?
We're recruiting for a Finance & Accounts Assistant to join an established business within the entertainment sector.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a friendly and sociable team with a positive working culture, whilst supporting a busy finance function in a growing organisation.
Working within a modern finance environment, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of responsibilities, using Xero and supporting key financial processes across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing daily banking transactions and bank reconciliations
- Raising sales invoices and maintaining accurate records
- Processing purchase invoices
- Assisting with internal budget tracking and reporting
- Supporting the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Assisting with month-end finance processes
- Maintaining accurate financial records and resolving finance queries
- What We’re Looking For
We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience in
- Finance Assistant
- Accounts Assistant
- Bookkeeping
- Sales Ledger
- Purchase Ledger
You will ideally have
- Previous experience within a finance or accounts-based role
- Experience using Xero or a similar accounting system
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good Excel and general IT skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work
- A genuine interest in the entertainment, media or creative sectors would be advantageous
