We have an opportunity for Senior Residential Support Workers to join our dynamic team within our childrens home in Abergavenny area, supporting up to 4 Young People with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties.
All our homes are based in a semi-rural location to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for the individuals we support.
We provide a homely environment where Young People feel safe, supported, and nurtured.

Requirements to be a Senior Residential Support Worker
Essential
- QCF/NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care
- Minimum of 1 years experience working in Care.
- Full UK manual drivers licence
- Minimum age 22
- Passion to make a difference
- Strong communication skills and a team player
- Ability to remain calm and patient under pressure
- Basic IT skills
- Flexibility for shift work, including weekends & sleep ins
- Able to act as a positive role model
- Ability to Shift Lead in a residential setting
- Basic knowledge of Statutory requirements & regulations
- Good understanding of Health & Safety, and risk assessments
Desirable
- Level 3 qualification specific in Health & Social Care Children & Young People
- Registered with Social Care Wales or must register within initial 6 months in residential care
- Experience of working with children
- Experience of residential childcare
- Welsh Speaker
