A food manufacturer in the greater Boston area is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their growing team. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for all product movements, raw and finished goods inventories and organization, development, and performance of the warehouse team. The Warehouse Supervisor will also be responsible for transportation, raw material acceptance procedures, off-site warehousing and performance tracking of manpower and materials.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Lead by example to build a high-performing team culture centered on accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Train new hires and ongoing staff members in proper warehouse processes and develop any training documentation needed.
  • Oversee receiving, put-away, inventory storage, and outbound processes for both raw and finished food products.
  • Build and manage daily and weekly work schedules that support volume needs and service levels.
  • Work with the logistics department to optimize daily inbound/outbound schedule.
  • Drive weekly pre-shift meeting with focus on performance metrics and ensure smooth handoff.
  • Promote behaviour changes around inventory accuracy, loss prevention, and material flow.
  • In collaboration with the Logistics team support all OTIF reduction initiatives.
  • Promote compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
  • Enforce consistent accountability and recognise strong performance.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies as well as damaged products through performance coaching and accountability.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support a high-performance operation.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING WITH YOU:

  • Proven leadership in a warehouse or cold storage environment, ideally with food products.
  • Solid experience with WMS or D365 is a plus.
  • Fork-lift certification required.
