The Opportunity

We are entering the next phase of our global procurement evolution. As a large corporate organization, we are transforming our Global Procurement Operations (P2P) into a highly scalable, technology-enabled, and strategically differentiated delivery model. This is not a traditional operational leadership role. It is a global transformation mandate. You will architect and scale a next-generation Procure-to-Pay (P2P) organization that combines operational excellence, intelligent orchestration, advanced automation, and superior user experience.

Your Mission

  • Evolve the Global P2P Operating Model
    • Further professionalize and scale our global P2P and operational procurement setup
    • Define and implement a future-ready operating model across regions
    • Establish governance, KPIs, and standardized service delivery frameworks
    • Enhance buying channel optimization and request management structures
  • Drive Automation, Orchestration & AI Enablement
    • Partner closely with the CTO to embed orchestration layers, agent-based workflows, and AI-supported process automation
    • Reduce manual touchpoints across intake, sourcing support, order management, and supplier communication
    • Implement intelligent ticket routing and digital intake channels
    • Leverage spend analytics to systematically identify efficiency and savings opportunities within operational procurement flows
  • Elevate the Client Experience
    • Create a B2C-inspired user experience for operational procurement services
    • Provide full transparency on request status, SLAs, and performance metrics
    • Modernize and scale the client help desk model
    • Build self-service capabilities where appropriate
  • Drive Operational Efficiency at Scale
    • Increase productivity through automation and standardization
    • Define global workforce strategy across nearshore and onshore hubs
    • Optimize cost-to-serve through technology enablement
    • Establish continuous improvement and performance dashboards
  • Prepare for the Future of Procurement Delivery
    • Position P2P as a strategic enabler within our broader sourcing ecosystem
    • Integrate operational insights into category and sourcing strategies
    • Build scalable capabilities aligned with AI-driven procurement environments
    • Develop a strong global leadership bench and succession pipeline

Your Profile

We are seeking a senior global transformation leader with a strong track record in scaling and modernizing service-based organizations. You bring:

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in procurement operations, shared services, GBS, or BPO environments
  • Proven experience running global P2P or operational procurement organizations
  • Strong exposure to automation, workflow orchestration, AI enablement, or digital transformation initiatives
  • Experience building and leading multi-country delivery teams
  • Deep understanding of procurement operating models and service excellence frameworks
  • Strong commercial mindset with focus on productivity and scalability
  • Executive presence and ability to lead change in matrixed global environments
  • Experience collaborating closely with CTO/technology leadership
  • Fluency in English (additional languages a plus)
