Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail‐driven Communications Administrator to support a large, multi‐site organisation with the delivery of clear, consistent and effective communications. Reporting to the Communications Manager, the Communications Administrator will play a key role in ensuring high‐quality, timely and accurate messaging across the organisation. The role supports both centralised communication processes and site‐level needs, helping maintain alignment, brand consistency, and operational clarity across multiple locations.
This role underpins day‐to‐day communication activity, providing structured support across written content, templates, newsletters, announcements, internal channels and stakeholder updates. The Communications Administrator ensures all communications are accessible, well‐presented and appropriate for their intended audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver day‐to‐day communications activity using templates and brand standards.
- Prepare, proofread and quality‐check routine communications.
- Adapt centrally produced content for site‐specific use while maintaining consistent tone and messaging.
- Maintain and organise shared communication resources, templates and guidance materials.
- Act as a first point of contact for routine communications queries from site leadership teams.
- Coordinate communications across agreed channels such as internal platforms, websites (where applicable) and email.
- Track communication requests and manage workflow to agreed timelines and standards.
- Support onboarding of new sites and leaders into communication policies and processes.
- Identify recurring gaps or issues in communication practices and provide feedback to aid continuous improvement.
Experience, Skills and Knowledge
- Experience in a communications or marketing role.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Strong organisational ability with experience managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders across multiple sites.
- Experience in a multi‐site or centrally coordinated organisation.
