We are presently advising a fantastic alternative credit fund who are seeking to add an accomplished senior investment professional to its respected investment team. Our client is a top-performing London-based credit fund, they are looking to continue the expansion of their highly-regarded investment team following several years of strong fund performance and growth in AUM.
This key hire will join an excellent investment team with a fantastic pedigree and proven track-record of success of investing across the capital structure in public and private markets. Key responsibilities will include:
- Analysis and execution of stressed, distressed and special situations investments across public and private markets
- Leading the pitching of investments to the IC, assuming responsibility for certain sectors/regions, and overseeing restructuring situations
- Sourcing of EMEA investments from banks, advisors, law firms, corporates, insolvency practitioners, PE sponsors etc
- Contributing towards continual firm growth, from assisting with LP pitches and fundraising, through to training and mentoring junior members of the investment teams
This hire is of the upmost importance for our client. They are seeking a Director/MD level investment professional with a proven-track record in sourcing and executing distressed and special situations investments that have produced double digit returns – particularly those that have experience across asset-backed/asset-heavy, deep restructuring, control situations and/or liquidations.
