We are presently advising a leading credit fund on a hire into its Opportunistic Credit focused team in London. The role sits at Senior Associate or VP level, focusing on investments across public and private markets, including stressed/distressed corporates, special situations, asset-backed and real estate credit.
This is a lean, entrepreneurial team offering early responsibility, direct access to senior decision-makers, and exposure across the full investment lifecycle — from idea generation and analysis through to execution and portfolio management.
The ideal candidate will therefore be required to demonstrate:
- At least 3 years' experience in credit investing, with a background in restructuring, lev fin, M&A or similar
- Strong credit fundamentals and advanced financial modelling skills
- Experience with stressed/distressed or complex event-driven situations
