Leveraged Credit Trader - VP+ (London Area)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading international name, boasting prominent sales and trading teams globally. As part of their 2025 expansion plans in Europe, they’re seeking to further grow their fixed income and credit trading platform in London. This leading fixed income group sits alongside other prominent capital markets (equities, DCM, etc.) and investment banking (M&A, debt advisory, etc.) teams. Our client are seeking a driven individual to join their London based fixed income and credit trading team as a Vice President or Director-level trader, to focus on: Pricing and executing trades across bonds and loans Trading across GBP, USD and EUR high yield, stressed, distressed bonds, par and leveraged loans Liaising with the credit research and sales teams, as well as the other members of the trading team globally Working hand-in-hand with the bank\’s prominent institutional sales force to further build the desk\’s institutional and hedge fund client base Working on pricing/distributing axes/calculating P&L The role will suit an individual who is looking for significant responsibility within a fast-paced fixed income and credit teams, liaising with teams and colleagues across Europe, the US and APAC. The ideal candidate would be currently in a VP or Director-level credit trader with appropriate experience trading across high yield and/or distressed debt – bonds or loans.
