We're delighted to be advising a leading highly-regarded international hedge fund on its 2025 global credit hiring. Our client is seeking a Credit Research Analyst to join its dynamic investment team. This is a wonderful opportunity to work directly with a talented L/S credit investment team in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. The role will focus on investment grade, high yield, and stressed/distressed credit—across both cash bonds and CDS instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct deep fundamental credit analysis on corporates across various sectors
  • Monitor and interpret macroeconomic and market trends impacting credit markets
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation frameworks
  • Generate long and short investment ideas across the capital structure (IG, HY, liquid stressed/distressed)
  • Engage with management teams, sell-side analysts, and industry experts
  • Contribute to portfolio construction discussions and trade implementation
  • Collaborate closely with traders, PMs, and other analysts across strategies

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 5–10+ years of experience in credit research/trading, leveraged finance, or distressed investing
  • Have defined credit research experience on either buy or sell side, at a leading bank or prominent fund
  • Strong understanding of capital structures, covenants, and credit documentation.
  • Proven ability to identify and articulate high-conviction investment ideas.
  • Experience with CDS, bond trading dynamics, etc.
  • Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Self-starter with a commercial mindset, attention to detail, and intellectual curiosity.
