Distressed/Special Situations Investment Professional (VP/Director+)

We are presently advising a top-performing credit fund seeking to add a talented Investment Professional to their London-based team.

The fund has an excellent track record in the distressed and special situations space and are looking to continue to develop their team following a number of years of impressive performance, AuM growth and strategic hiring.

This role will focus on the origination, analysis and execution of distressed debt and special situations opportunities across both the public and private market and the ideal candidate will be expected to demonstrate the following:

• Solid experience in investing in distressed/special situations including, but not limited to: complex restructuring situations/turnarounds, control investments, debtor in possession, and hybrid value investing
• Proven ability in originating/sourcing opportunities from a network of restructuring advisors, bank desks, insolvency practitioners, lawyers, etc.
• Excellent communication skills in presenting investment ideas to fellow senior member of the investment team at committees
• Senior Vice President/Director-level (and above) investment experience in a distressed/special situations fund
• Other relevant experience investing at an opportunistic credit fund or special situations private equity fund
