Our client is an exciting fund seeking to add junior/mid-level investment talent to support its continued growth in Europe. The successful candidate will become a key member of a high-performing team with a strong track record, contributing to their expertise in sourcing, analysing, and executing stressed/distressed and special situations public and private credit investments.
The role will offer broad exposure across the full investment lifecycle — from origination and due diligence through to structuring, execution, and portfolio management. The ideal candidate should possess current experience in stressed/distressed and special situations investing and/or a strong sell‑side background in restructuring, debt advisory or similar.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake detailed fundamental analysis across high‑yield, stressed, distressed, and special situations credit, spanning both public and private markets
- Work closely with analysts and the wider investment team to ensure effective collaboration throughout the investment process
- Develop and present investment ideas to the investment committee
- Apply advanced financial analysis and structuring expertise to execute transactions
- Contribute to the origination and sourcing of new opportunities through active engagement with market participants
