BASIC FUNCTION

Manage and oversee the operations and maintenance of the CMMP platform for the Single Point Mooring (SPM) Project. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure efficient and safe operation of the CMMP platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all work is carried out as per permit to work (PTW) system.
  • Conduct risk assessments of control measures as per approved or valid procedures prior to issuing the permit.
  • Conduct failure investigations and prepare Root Cause analysis reports.
  • Review project documentation, extracting relevant technical information for maintenance, inspection, and operation of platforms and SPMs.
  • Deploy suitable teams for corrective and preventive maintenance as per site requirements.
  • Overall responsible for maintaining Operation and Maintenance KPI.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the CMMP platform, ensuring efficient and effective performance.
  • Conduct gap analysis to ensure the life expectancy of equipment, process piping, and structure.
  • Manage a multi-disciplined maintenance team to ensure that all maintenance is correctly prioritized and completed as per given CMMS schedule.
  • Conduct periodic inspections and annual overhauls for Lifeboat, pedestal crane, jacket, and platform structure following statutory requirements.
  • Review management of change (MOC) for technical accuracy and delivery.
  • Assist Project Manager during annual audits, safety drills, risk assessments, and engineering support.
  • Ensure safe and environmentally acceptable platform operations for various systems.
  • Conduct periodic audits of contractor’s quality system and ongoing activities.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive reports to clients detailing operational and maintenance activities.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Ability to effectively assist with the relationship between marine and project personnel.
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Excellent ability to implement and monitor planned maintenance of electronic equipment.
  • Provide remedial actions to outages affecting maintenance teams.
  • Motivate staff to comply with HSE and SMS objectives.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY REQUIRED

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) mandatory, Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in relevant marine and offshore legislations, inspection standards, and industry codes.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Positive and solution-focused attitude with a goal-based approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence and lead teams operating in remote locations.

HSE RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Reinforce and strengthen the HSE culture in operations and projects.
  • Promote correct HSE behaviours through personal example.
  • Take action on any health, safety, and environmental matter brought to their notice.
  • Monitor and evaluate emergency drills to ensure procedures are in place.
  • Ensure workforce under their control are adequately trained and informed.
  • Assist in all safety inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure risk assessments are carried out and hazards are controlled.
  • Conform with emergency procedures applicable to their workplace.
  • Facilitate effective two-way communication with the workforce on HSE issues.
  • Report and investigate all accidents and dangerous occurrences.
  • Ensure operations comply with health, safety, and environmental legislation.

HSE AUTHORITY

Having full authority to stop any unsafe work that may harm personnel or damage the environment.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Valid Medical Certificate. Relevant 10 years’ experience in the same field.
