The predicted salary is between 45000 - 55000 £ per year.

We’re growing our commercial team and are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in the successful delivery of our structural construction projects across the UK. Based at one of their offices across the central belt of Scotland, you’ll take ownership of the financial and contractual management of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and wants to make a real impact within a well‑established fabrication business.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting our project teams across all commercial activities
  • Preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects
  • Assessing and evaluating subcontractor tenders, proposals, and contracts
  • Monitoring project costs, budgets, and cash flow to meet financial targets
  • Preparing and reviewing contractual documentation, including negotiation of terms
  • Identifying, valuing, and managing changes to workscope
  • Conducting risk analysis and developing strategies to maximise project profitability
  • Collaborating closely with engineers, contractors, and wider project teams to ensure robust project documentation

What we’re looking for:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a QS role within construction
  • Strong knowledge of NEC & JCT contracts, legislation, and industry standards
  • Proven experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis
  • Proficiency with QS software and digital tools
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A proactive, positive approach aligned with our company values
