Working for a privately owned, award-winning, medium-sized regional developer will bring upon many more challenges and opportunities that working for a larger plc builder wouldn't.
This role is primed for a Senior Technologist from Architectural Practice who has been working on large scale residential developments and who has knowledge of HfVN. Your work will be varied across large scale mid to high-end market developments, HfVN, flatted developments, and occasional work with listed buildings.
Working within the Technical department, you will be closely working with the rest of the internal team along with external Architectural and Engineering consultants to bring early design and approvals through the relevant Planning and Building Warrant systems.
Ideally, the successful candidate will:
- Have new build housing and flatted experience within both the Residential and Social housing sectors.
- Be highly proficient in AutoCAD / Revit and have a good level of IT literacy with Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and associated Microsoft packages.
- Have comprehensive knowledge of the Scottish Building Regulations / NHBC regulations / HFvN Standards.
- Have a sound understanding of Construction detailing.
- Be able to work efficiently and accurately with minimum supervision.
- Show initiative, motivation, responsibility and commitment.
- Knowledge of Project Vault drawing system would be preferred, but not essential.
