Senior Estimator
📍 Bellshill | Full‑time | Permanent| Salary up to £55k & Benefits
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of major projects across the UK, we’re looking for a highly motivated and technically confident Senior Estimator to join our Estimating Team in Bellshill.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced estimator with deep knowledge of structural steel fabrication and installation, who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys working on large, complex tenders.
What you’ll be doing
- Working closely with our established Estimating Team to prepare competitive tender bids for large‑scale UK contracts
- Analysing tender specifications, drawings, and technical documentation to develop accurate cost schedules
- Coordinating all supporting documentation required for formal tender submissions
- Communicating directly with clients throughout the tender process and presenting final submissions
- Supporting pre‑order negotiations to ensure clarity, accuracy, and commercial alignment
What you’ll bring
- Strong technical knowledge of structural steel fabrication and installation
- Minimum 5 years’ experience estimating within the steelwork/fabrication industry
- Ability to carry out detailed technical and financial calculations
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- High level of IT proficiency and strong numeracy skills
