A growing and well respected fit-out contractor is looking to appoint an Estimator who wants to be more than a number in a big machine. Based in Glasgow, they specialise in small commercial office fit outs, healthcare and education projects, and a wide range of fast paced refurbishment projects across Scotland. If you enjoy variety, ownership, and being close to the action, this is the role. You will be joining a tight knit, ambitious team where your work directly shapes the success of each project. This isn’t a siloed estimating role; you will be a key member of the business, influencing decisions, improving processes, and helping drive growth. For the right person, there’s a clear path into a more senior position as the business continues to expand.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Producing accurate, commercially sound estimates for small to medium fit out and refurbishment projects
- Working closely with Directors, Project Managers and supply chain partners to build competitive, well structured tenders
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and site information to prepare detailed take offs
- Managing supplier and subcontractor pricing, ensuring best value and reliable delivery
- Supporting bid submissions, client proposals and cost planning
- Contributing to continuous improvement across estimating, procurement and project handover
