We are recruiting an experienced Housing Officer to support a busy Glasgow based social housing team on a short term contract. This role requires someone who can manage a varied caseload, work independently, and deliver a high quality service from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a patch covering allocations, arrears, ASB and tenancy sustainment
  • Carry out void inspections, identify required works and liaise with contractors
  • Deliver estate management and tenancy support services
  • Work closely with tenants, including conducting visits
  • Work with partner agencies and internal teams
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and procedures

What We Are Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Housing Officer or similar role within social housing
  • Strong knowledge of Scottish housing legislation and best practice
  • Confident managing a busy caseload and making informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to start immediately or at short notice
