We’re recruiting an experienced Housing Officer to support a busy Glasgow based social housing team on a short-term contract. This role requires someone who can manage a varied caseload, work independently, and deliver a high-quality service from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a patch covering allocations, arrears, ASB and tenancy sustainment
- Carry out void inspections, identify required works and liaise with contractors
- Deliver estate management and tenancy support services
- Work closely with tenants, including conducting visits
- Work with partner agencies and internal teams
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Housing Officer or similar role within social housing
- Strong knowledge of Scottish housing legislation and best practice
- Confident managing a busy caseload and making informed decisions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to start immediately or at short notice
