Our client is based in Glasgow and are looking for an organised Housing Assistant who can support both Housing management and Property compliance functions. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid housing experience who’s confident working across allocations, tenancy management and day-to-day compliance tasks.
The Role
You’ll provide frontline support to tenants while assisting the Property Services team with key compliance activities. The role combines traditional housing duties with elements of maintenance administration, ensuring homes remain safe, well-managed and fully compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage housing applications, allocations and tenancy enquiries
- Support compliance programmes including Gas Servicing, Electrical Inspections, Fire Safety and Legionella
- Process invoices, raise work orders and maintain accurate records
- Liaise with contractors and internal teams to ensure timely completion of works
- Assist with estate inspections, access arrangements and basic maintenance coordination
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants, including vulnerable households
About You
- Experience working within social housing is essential
- Strong administrative skills and confidence managing compliance data
- Knowledge of repairs, maintenance or property services is highly desirable
- Familiarity with Homemaster or similar housing management systems is a real advantage
- A proactive, customer-focused approach with strong attention to detail
This is an excellent opportunity with a progressive Housing Association, the role will be temporary for approx 4 months, but could last longer.
