Confero Recruitment Group is delighted to be partnering with an exciting client in their search for an additional Field Service Engineer to join their growing team. As a result of sustained business growth and the successful award of new contracts within the electricity sector, our client is seeking a highly motivated and proactive professional to support the continued expansion of its operations across the UK.
This role will involve the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and technical support of a diverse range of electrical condition monitoring systems. Working predominantly within High Voltage (HV) substations and electrical compounds, you will travel to customer sites throughout the UK using company-provided vehicles.
In addition to delivering field-based engineering support, the successful candidate will develop into the organisation’s Partial Discharge (PD) specialist, acting as the subject matter expert and providing technical leadership, guidance, and expertise across this key area of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Partial Discharge (PD) technical specialist and lead for the Field Service team.
- Install, commission, and maintain condition monitoring equipment, including:
- Partial Discharge (PD) monitoring systems
- Circuit breaker condition monitoring systems
- SF6 gas density monitoring equipment
