The position:

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Finance Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial processes, supporting the wider team, and upholding the high standards of our Finance function. As the Finance Manager, you will be pivotal in strengthening our Finance team, providing confident day-to-day leadership and ensuring high-quality reporting and analysis across the function.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading, mentoring and developing the Finance team, ensuring strong performance, engagement, and growth.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day activities of working capital management, and General Ledger functions.
  • Owning and delivering an accurate and timely month-end close process.
  • Reviewing and approving journals, reconciliations, and key balance sheet accounts.
  • Ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of financial data.
  • Producing monthly management accounts, including detailed analysis and commentary.
  • Supporting external audits and tax compliance, preparing documentation and leading responses both in the UK and internationally.
  • Collaborating with internal & external stakeholders in a timely manner.

You will have:

  • Previous experience leading financial operations.
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics D365 Business Central (Desirable, Not Essential).
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • The ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.
  • The ability to analyse data and make recommendations for improvements along with the presentation skills to communicate this to key stakeholders.

You are:

  • A fully-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) with strong PQE.
  • An organised, quick learner, and comfortable working within a team.
  • Confident in your communication style and able to challenge constructively, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels across the business.

Compensation:

Salary & Bonus: Up to £55,000 (Dependent on experience)
