As Solutions Architect, your focus will be to drive continual improvement across the Conferma platform. You will form part of the technology governance team, acting as the technical design authority for all development initiatives, ensuring alignment of integration patterns and best practice for the company.
You will be the subject matter expert for the Conferma payments platform, defining end-to-end solutions or business offerings to meet product and customer requirements. You will work closely with project managers, other Solutions Architects, developers and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:- Ensure we are technically fit for purpose. Create architecture design artifacts that follow engineering and quality processes, standards, and principles, defining solutions that balance product requirements with information and security requirements.
- Carry out requirement analysis, determine pre-project feasibility and costing, as well as provide consultancy to product and business development teams.
- Working with Product Management to translate business requirements into architectural and system requirements.
- Act as project technical lead and subject matter expert, overseeing all phases of development ensuring design requirements are accurately met.
- Interact with the customers as the subject matter expert and communicate technical topics to those without a technical background.
- Proactively assess and undertake research and development activities, liaising with technology vendors and partners as required.
- Identify and recommend improvements to existing services and architectures, influencing key stakeholders where appropriate.
- Design and implement .NET-based solutions to meet business needs.
- Create architectural diagrams using C4 or similar to illustrate solution designs.
- Develop cloud-based solutions using platforms such as Azure.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure solutions align with business goals.
- Review and optimize code to ensure performance and security.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Produce Proof of Concepts for new API integrations.
