Finance Business Partner at Conferma is responsible for:

We are looking for a Finance Professional to join us in South Manchester to play a key role in driving the business forward. We are seeking a dynamic and commercially focused Cost Finance Business Partner with 2 years post-qualification experience (PQE) to join the team.

This role will be critical in providing financial insights, cost analysis, and strategic support to senior stakeholders, enabling our teams to deliver against their targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Partnering: Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  2. Cost Analysis & Control: Monitor, analyse, and challenge cost variances, ensuring alignment with budgets and forecasts, across departments and products.
  3. Revenue Optimisation: Work closely with Commercial teams to identify opportunities for margin improvement, pricing strategies, and revenue growth.
  4. Financial Planning & Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and identifying efficiencies & cost-saving opportunities.
  5. Performance Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to Senior stakeholders, providing meaningful analysis on cost trends, operational efficiencies, and business performance using key financial & non-financial metrics.
  6. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with non-finance stakeholders to ensure financial performance is understood.
  7. Process Improvement: Drive efficiency and cost optimization initiatives across the business.
  8. Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to accounting policies, controls, and compliance requirements.
