The predicted salary is between 32000 - 38000 £ per year.

Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 pro-rata to full-time depending on experience

Location: Central London Office (please do not apply if you are not based in the UK).

Hours: 2 or 3 days per week (50% office based)

Reports to: CTH Academic Director

A specialist Ofqual-regulated awarding organisation for Tourism, Hospitality & Culinary programmes is seeking a part-time Learning & Development Executive to work in the Culinary Department within the Academic Team to monitor the assessment, marking and quality assurance processes for culinary qualifications from RQF Levels 1 to 4. This includes involvement in external verification of UK and overseas centres, practising a validity-based approach to developing assessments, and contributing to the review of qualification structures, content, developing resources and assessment materials.

Experience required:

  • Significant culinary or food & beverage management experience within a range of hotels or hospitality businesses
  • Hospitality degree or equivalent an advantage
  • Vocational courses relevant to hospitality, culinary and teaching
  • Awareness of assessment methodology
  • Experience of delivering learning, and conducting assessment
  • Experience of quality assurance and maintaining standards
  • Excellent communication skills in order to support colleagues and delivery centres
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, and attention to detail.
