Hours: 2 or 3 days per week, blended schedule (50% office based)

Summary of the role:

A specialist Ofqual-regulated awarding organisation for Tourism, Hospitality & Culinary programmes is seeking a part-time Learning & Development Executive to work within the Academic Team to monitor the assessment, marking and quality assurance processes for management and professional skills qualifications from RQF Levels 1 to 7. This includes involvement in external verification of UK and overseas centres, practising a validity-based approach to developing assessments, and contributing to the review of qualification structures, content, developing resources and assessment materials.

Experience required:

  • Significant hospitality management experience within a range of hotels
  • Hospitality degree or equivalent
  • Vocational courses relevant to hospitality and teaching
  • Awareness of assessment methodology
  • Experience of delivering learning, and conducting assessment
  • Experience of quality assurance and maintaining standards
  • Excellent communication skills in order to support colleagues and delivery centres
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, accuracy and attention to detail
