DMWS – Brighton Armed Forces Welfare Officer in London

We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, able to work as part of a team and independently, who is compassionate and enthusiastic about supporting the armed forces community. This role is part time working 21 hours a week over 3 days. If you have family and carers welfare experience, this role may be for you.

DMWS is an international charity that has been providing medical welfare support to the armed forces community for over 80 years. Based within The Chavasse Clinic University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, the DMWS Armed Forces Welfare Officer (AFWO) will support armed forces community members within the patient’s care pathway, providing person centred support to address nonclinical needs, and improving discharge time of the service users to the community.
